Cold & Allergy Season Oils

When cold season begins, it usually comes in by storm and everyone in the house has to go through it. But the littles are the worst. They are miserable and usually cranky because of the discomfort and lack of sleep and their poor little coughs leave them struggling to breathe. Trying to keep them healthy while also healing the culprit of the cold can be challenge but I've found this blend to be just the ticket. My 2 year old son asks for the "pizza" on his feet before bed.

THE COLD COMBO

I mix these oils with a little carrier oil and apply to the bottom of my kids' feet before going to bed. You could leave them uncovered or put socks back on. I also like to rub a little breathe on their chest.

Oregano Oil (mixed with a carrier oil) which supports a healthy immune system, healthy digestion, and respiratory function.

Breathe Respiratory Blend which maintains feelings of clear airways and easy breathing, promotes a restful nights sleep, and helps minimize the effects of seasonal threats

OnGuard Blend which supports healthy immune and respiratory function, protects against environmental threats, supports the body’s natural antioxidant defenses, promotes healthy circulation, energizing and uplifting aroma.

You can also diffuse this blend in their room during the night as well. This is my favorite diffuser and gives you a little nightlight as well!

ALLERGY RELIEF BLEND

Combining the powers of lemon essential oil, peppermint essential oil, and lavender essential oil for allergies is the best way to tackle most allergic reactions. Combined, they work as one of the most powerful antihistamines to bring down inflammation and other discomforts caused by your body’s allergic response.

Frankinscence can help to reduce the inflammatory response of allergens in your body. Like many other essential oils, frankincense has anti-inflammatory benefits and can help both reduce inflammation and boost the immune system.

Lemon supports lymphatic system drainage and helps with overcoming respiratory conditions. Lemon essential oil works as a natural antihistamine, relieves excess mucus, and cools down the inflammation which is the result of an allergic reaction.

Lavender works as a natural antihistamine and possess strong anti-inflammatory properties to treat and relieve most allergic reactions. It works great for treating skin rashes or headaches. And not only will it ease your allergic reaction, it has a calming and relaxing effect on body and mind, and smells great.

Peppermint has a strong, fresh, and minty aroma that works wonders to treat allergic reactions, especially those that cause respiratory or digestive issues. Peppermint essential oil has pain-relieving, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties that come in handy in soothing allergies and the painful conditions associated with them. Peppermint oil helps to open the airways, improve breathing and ease congestion as well as other symptoms of respiratory allergies.
