Pineapple Lime Avocado Smoothie

Being healthy is of course always a priority but convincing toddlers to even consider something that they visually don't even find appealing is an immediate roadblock. So naturally when my 2 year old drank in its entirety, a green smoothie, I was shocked. I had to figure out the recipe and recreate. We made our own version at home and the response was just as rewarding as the first time. 129 calories per serving. Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients:

1 C water

1 scoop Vega Vanilla Protein (from Costco) 1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled & pitted

1 lime - cut and squeezed 2 C spinach or power greens 2 C frozen or fresh pineapple chunks

What I LOVE about this particular protein powder is how much its packed with!

Premium Protein

20 grams of plant-based protein from a complete multisource blend made from pea protein, flaxseed, hemp protein, and sacha inchi protein.

Veggies and Greens

Each proudly green serving has ingredients like organic broccoli and organic kale to give Vega One a vibrant green hue. You just can’t camouflage awesome.

Vitamins and Minerals

Every scoop has at least 50% DV of 12 vitamins and minerals made from real, plant-based food ingredients.
