
Summer should be filled with vacations, pool parties and sun but the reality is, for moms, its HARD. We are expected to be entertainers and meanwhile still trying to keep our goals in check like staying on top of our fitness game. The good news is you don't have to find a babysitter to hit the gym!
Check out these 3 ways you can still get a great workout in WITH your kids home.
A Kid Tailored HIIT Workout
When it comes to little ones especially, keeping them entertained is hard. I came up with a few exercises that really ramp it up for me quickly but with funny names and actions, my toddler loves to follow along. We dedicate "activity" time to being animals in the basement. It's a great way to tire them out before nap time too!
Frog Jumps, Bear Walks, Gorilla Shuffle, Starfish Jumps, Cheetah Run, Crab Crawl, Elephant Stomps.

Two-Wheel It
My daughter is old enough to stay home for half a day. We have family close by and at 12 she can entertain herself but I always come home for lunch to check in on her and go for a bike ride. It's a great way to connect with her and get her physical activity while I get my own in. If you have little ones, a bike trailer is an awesome way for everyone to get some air!
Jump It Out
This purchase was initially to keep my kids entertained but turns out it serves as a great workout for me too! Jumping takes a lot of muscle and balance so it makes perfect sense why this can double as your backyard gym. We shuffle, march, chase, and bounce our way to fitness.
