As a Minnesota girl we know two basic seasons. Winter and humidity. For a makeup girl this presents quite a few challenges. You are either dry and flaking or you are sweating and sliding. No one wants to loose their eyebrows over a hot day!
Here are some tips to help you avoid the makeup melt this summer?
1) It's A Crime Not To Prime
It truly is all about that base! A primer will set an even surface for your makeup to sit on. Makeup primer is a base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. This primer can also help smooth any fine lines, wrinkles. Every girl needs the Glorious Face & Eye Primer! Want your eyes to rock all day? Use an eye primer. This semi-tacky formula will hold on to your eye shadow and bat creasing all day.
2) Lighten The Layers
High humidity levels can cause pores to absorb moisture and can lead to excess sweat and oil production to the point where pores become clogged, resulting in acne breakout. AHHH!! Choose a product that is non-comedogenic and is light.

3) Smudge-Proof
The key to keeping things in place are products that don't move! My 2 favorites to choose from are our smudge-proof liners for both lips in 9 shades AND 11 shades for eyes, and 13 shades of lip stains for your lips. You can get color and all day wear without any smear.
4) Water Resistant
Waterproof can be a great option but in order to classify a product as waterproof, they have to add additional chemicals to it. Younique's Epic Mascara and 3D Fiber Mascara both are water resistant and can withstand A LOT of moisture without running or smearing. Plus, they make your lashes look fabulous!
5) Lock It In & Save Your Skin
You spend time trying to get your "face on". Why do all that work just to let it slip away! My favorite post-foundation product is the Behold Setting Powder.
