Cranberry Jalapeno With Greek Yogurt Dip

Updated: Nov 10, 2022

The idea for this certainly wasn't mine. I was inspired by a dip I got at Costco, and then they pulled it from the shelves. Way to get me hooked and then take it away! But I actually made it better than their's in my opinion, so I guess I win.

This is a GREAT appetizer or snack for any holiday occasion and was a clear winner at our gathering. Be sure to mix it up and let it meld together overnight for the best flavoring.

Double Recipe (or split)

  • 12 ounces of fresh cranberries

  • 4-5 green onions

  • 3 jalapenos seeded and finely diced

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 2 fresh limes squeezed

  • 2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese softened

  • 1 cup greek yogurt

I used a food chopper like this one to chop up the cranberries and jalapenos. These are great because they chop without emulsifying the cranberries. First chop the cranberries, green onions, jalapenos and cilantro and put in a bowl. Add the lime juice and cumin. Mix in the cream cheese and greek yogurt and add the sugar to taste. Remember the flavors strengthen overnight.
